The Process Images are film captured on Konica 750IR or Kodak HIE infrared film in medium format. These films are sensitive to light that is above the range visible by the human eye. Special IR filters are used to keep visible light from exposing the film. The exposed film is processed normally, and the negatives are then scanned on a high resolution Nikon Supercoolscan 8000ED, converting them into a digital image. All normal darkroom corrections such as cropping, burning and dodging, dust spotting , and density control are carried out digitally in Adobe Photoshop. We currently offer two types of high quality archival fine art prints. LightJet Prints: The CSI LightJet 5000 is a direct digital enlarger that uses RGB laser technology to expose real photographic paper. We primarily use Fuji Crystal Archive which offers the highest degree of permanence and print quality available. LightJets are available in sizes 20x24 through 48x60. Ultrachrome Prints: Prints in sizes 8 1/2 x 11 through 16x20 are printed using the cutting edge Epson 4000 inkjet printer with Epson’s Ultrachrome pigment inks on various fine art and photographic papers. These prints offer a life expectancy of 70-100 years. Pricing
